King’s Kids

The King’s Kids Scholarship Program

The King’s Kids Program was recently established in 2013 as a method of encouraging our next generation to be proficient in the scriptures. In the times that we live in today, young people need to know what the word of God says. This is done by giving parents a monthly list of scriptures (typically 30 -31) in which the children will memorize as many as they can. During our Evangelistic Service (First Friday of the Month). The youth will be given an opportunity to recite as many of the scriptures as possible. The one who remembers the most is deemed the winner in their age category and will be given an amount ranging from $25 – $50 to begin saving for college.

Age categories:                               Scholarship Amount:
3 years old – 6 years old                      $25

In December, during our Christmas Dinner we will hold our 1st Annual Scripture Bowl. The youth will take the scriptures memorized throughout the year and recite as many as they can in a game show format. Get ready for lots of laughs and fun. The prizes are also much greater!

St. John 11:35

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. ”
2 Thessalonians 2:3-6

“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”
2 Thessalonians 2:8

“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”
Hebrews 9:28

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”
II Peter 3:10

“Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”
II Peter 3:11-14

“And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Luke 17:22 -27

“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. ”
Luke 17:28,29

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. ”
Luke 21:28
